1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using TechAurum, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Description of the Service

TechAurum is an online marketplace that enables employers to post projects and hire freelancers with expertise in Microsoft technologies, including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure, Microsoft 365, and .NET development. We provide tools for proposals, contracts, milestone and hourly billing, secure escrow, messaging, and payment routing.

TechAurum is not a party to the contracts formed between employers and freelancers. We facilitate connections and payments but are not responsible for the performance, quality, or legality of the work agreed between users.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in fraudulent or harmful conduct.

4. Payments, Escrow, and Fees

Employers fund project milestones or approved hourly work through our secure escrow system before payment is released to freelancers. TechAurum charges a platform commission of 15% on freelancer earnings, which is deducted when escrow is released.

All payments are processed through our third-party payment providers. You agree to comply with their terms in addition to these Terms. Fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the platform for any unlawful purpose, to circumvent our fees, to post misleading content, to infringe intellectual property rights, or to harass other users. You agree to keep project communications and payments on the platform.

6. Intellectual Property

Ownership of work product created under a contract is governed by the agreement between the employer and freelancer. The TechAurum name, logo, and platform content remain the property of TechAurum and may not be used without permission.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechAurum shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or from any dealings between users.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email. Your continued use of TechAurum after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
